Beavers

Boys and Girls aged 6 - 8 Years

We have a strong Beaver Colony headed up by “Top Cat” assisted by “Mrs T”, “Thumper” and “Derek” our Young Leaders and several regular Parent Helpers

The aim of our Beaver Section is that every child will leave the meeting having learned something new through a fun activity.
They will work towards badges and will often bring things home with them.
This term we are working towards “Health and Fitness Badge” and we have completed our “Hike 1 Badge”
 

 

Cubs

Boys and Girls aged 8 - 10 Years

Cubs Meet on Mondays
Term Time Only
6.45pm – 8.30pm

We have a strong Cub Pack headed up by “Akala” assisted by “Kaa” and “Shere Khaan” with regular help from members of our Young Leader Team this term “Ferret”

The aim of our Cub Pack is that every child will leave the meeting having learned something new through a fun activity.
They will work towards badges and will often bring things home with them.
We try and make all whatever they do entertaining and educational.
 

Scouts

The aim of our Beaver Section is that every child will leave the meeting having learned something new through a fun activity. They will work towards badges and will often bring things home with them. This term we are working towards Health and Fitness Badge and we have completed our Hike 1 Badge How do I join? Just Email or Phone us on the dedicated Beaver Phone If we have spaces you can join straight away, otherwise we will put you on a short waiting list. During the first few weeks, we will ask you get a uniform. We will then invest you into the lodge and you will be given a Scarf, Woggle and Uniform Badges. Uniform Consists of the turquoise sweatshirt, group scarf and dark trousers, we also sell a group tee shirt. How much does it cost? There is a membership cost of 16.00 per half term. This money goes towards providing badges and resources, insurance when undertaking activities and the costs of the hall and mini bus.
